Matt Locker began in broadcasting at the of 16 at the CBS station WBNB-TV.

He has built both radio and television stations, and is very familair with all the old formats of video.

His studio is equipped to handle just about any video format you can imagine; and it’s not just limited to video. Building and maintaining the engineering side of radio stations, he had learned the secret sauce of restoring old audio tapes as well.

When the gear is shut off, you can find Matt at the gym or spending time with his Shiba-Inu, Digit.

Video, records, and audio tape transfers to MP4 video and .Wav audio files.

You ship the media, and we digitize it for you, and FTP it back to you. And/or, you can include an external hard drive.

Rates for audio and video tape and Records:

$2.00 per minute with a 20 minute minimum.

$1.00 per minute after the first hour.

EDITING: $85.00/ hour studio time.

Video transfers go through a TBC and are scope monitored.

VHS/SVHS go through a Procamp which allows for color correction if the white balance was too pink or too blue on the original camera,

Payment must be received before files are released. Paypal, Cashapp Checks accepted but must clear before files are released.

Legally, we cannot copy protected material such as pre-recorded motion picture.

Here’s how it works: You send me an e-mail, I reply with the mailing address. It is advised that you ship with a tracking number. Specify if you want the tapes returned. Return postage included, sending is through USPS “Media Mail”.*

Since this material is dubbed in real time, turn around depends on how mutch material is handled, but we usually begin within 24 hours of receipt of tapes, if another customer is ahead of you, you’ll go into a queue.

Unlike transfer houses which serve millions of families, this is a boutique studio, with each tape handled by a professional broadcaster with over 40 years experience in the business.

*”Media Mail” is a less expensive way to ship media material through the post office.
